Prof. Dr. Süleyman AKARSU was born in Diyarbakır in 1969. After completing his pre-license education in Ankara, he successfully completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and received the title of medical doctor. He completed his specialization at Ankara Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics, where he entered with a degree, and became an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist in 1998.
He worked as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Rize State Hospital between 1998 and 2003.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman AKARSU, who worked as a founding physician at Ankara Keçiören Training and Research Hospital between 2003 and 2010, participated in clinical practices at Ankara Gülhane Military Hospital IVF Clinic for 6 months in 2006 and received an IVF certificate. Between 2005 and 2010, he completed his doctorate education at Ankara Gazi University, Department of Histology and Embryology and received the title of Doctor of Science in Embryology and Histology.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman AKARSU worked at Ankara Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Training and Research Hospital IVF Clinic and Madrid IVI Clinic between 2010 - 2011, at Diyarbakır Private Veni Vidi Hospital IVF Clinic between 2011 - 2012, at Ankara Medicana Hospital IVF Clinic between 2013 - 2014, as a responsible physician, at Izmir University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Izmir Medical Park Hospital IVF Clinic and High Specialization University Ankara Private Koru Hospital between 2015 - 2018.

After accepting patients at Ankara Medicana Hospital between 2019-2022, as of March 1, 2022, Prof. Dr. Süleyman AKARSU continues his professional work in his own practice in Ankara Platin Tower Business Center.

He is married and has two sons. He speaks fluent English and intermediate German.
